Farmlap PRO 5500 gives you the flexibility of a rugged Panasonic Toughbook computer that will run a host of other applications in the office and the field. Smart Dock The Panasonic Toughbook is a fully sealed shock resistant tablet computer that clips into a smart docking station for infield operations, and is easily removed for other mobile applications. Highway Guidance Farmlap guidance is just like driving down the line on a highway with the added precision of a light bar to show cross track errors and a separate moving map coverage display that rotates to maintain a “heads up” view for easy navigation in the field. Farmlap makes it easy to work at higher speeds so you can follow contours, parallel lines or work round and round virtually any shape field to maximize productivity with minimal fatigue. Real Time Mapping Farmlap creates a real-time coverage map based on active width so you can see exactly where you covered and where you missed. The zoom-in control lets you monitor overlap at 10 times magnification for a close up view or zoom-out for a total field view when navigating back from fill-ups or looking for missed areas. Field obstacle maps can also be used as a background layer to visually warn operators,especially useful at night or in dust and fog conditions Remote “Button Box” The handy Farmlap button box provides easy access to screen zoom, field marking, run line control, autosteer and master run/hold keys. Job Records Farmlap stores control setups and product calibrations for various machinery configurations so you can switch from one operation to another in minimal time. Coverage maps with summary application data are stored by job and can be transferred to the office and displayed or printed in color hardcopy using Farmscan Data Manager software. Parallel run lines and boundary maps can be stored and recalled from previous jobs to be used for control of auto steer applications.

The Toughbook runs on 12 volt power in the cab, has rechargeable batteries for mobile computing, and can be run on mains power in the office.
